Need some advice: joined a new company last month and was immediately assigned to deliver a large, complex training effort by my superior.
When I’ve returned to my superior with ideas, thoughts, or some direction, I’ve received the “sorry. I’m too busy” response. It’s a “no boss support / no assistance” scenario with no resources, no experience in the company, and thousands of hours needed to create / instruct the trainings.
So, how would you suggest handling such a situation?

What do I do if I’ve only worked one job (the one I’m currently at) and another company is asking for references? I could do professors from college but not sure if that’s a good idea. I wish I could give my current manager’s contact but I don’t want her knowing :/

Do you think it is time to find another job when your PIC is a micro manager, never trained you when you got hired, expects you to know things no one ever told you about in the first place, texts and calls you in the morning with questions you don’t have an answer to (I work evening shift so I’m mostly sleep when he reaches out), assumes the worst about everything, plots against you anyway, lies all the time, they don’t even do their job, they leave their trash behind etc. gives me anxiety.

I'm a cashier. We just got a new manager, and she's making things really hard for us. She starts work at 4:30am and leaves around 2:30pm, but she still expects us to stay until 6pm and work on the weekends! She gives us really long shifts and doesn't give us much time for breaks.
