I recently interviewed for L7 EM at Google and had 4 great interviews and one not so great system design. I submitted external referrals all of which gave great feedback. The recruiter said the next step is team match/interviews and then the HC. Anyone in a similar situation? What was the result? Google
I have 3 interviews scheduled next week for a senior associate advisory role at Deloitte. Can anyone share their experience on what the interviews will be like? Is it mostly behavioral? I’m also coming in from an audit background. Role is within GPS Finance Transformation. Really hoping to break into Advisory and any thoughts would be appreciated! Deloitte

I always say: clarity beats charisma in interviews. A well-structured answer that shows how you think—even if it’s not flashy—makes it easier for the panel to advocate for you later.
Exactly! Clarity gives interviewers confidence in your thought process, which often matters more than being flashy.
Great insights! What happens when you are out of time and you didn't get the full picture of the candidate? Isn't that also bad?
True. Time pressure can make it tricky, which is why I always encourage candidates to prioritize clear, structured answers first.
Good point! Thank you, I’m surprised that clarity is over charisma, I feel like charisma is still a leading evaluation of a person
I've found that charisma is a great way of making quick wins, but long-term ambiguity slips in the cracks and it becomes evident that clarity is needed.
