Opinions on IV therapy? I am feeling so run down, I think due to end of school year activities with 4 kids and a crazy amount of sports activities. I’m also 44 and my hormones are all over the place and I feel so tired. I generally get 8hrs of sleep per night but it isn’t usually very restful. I’ve been to several doctors and they’ve run many tests with everything coming back normal. They say I’m fatigued from demands of motherhood and full time employment.

Would recommend taking an actual break. Solo vacation with no work and no kids for as long as you can. Unavailable for everyone but you for even a day, but a few days or even a week would help so much. This was the case for me. I didn’t realize how stressed I’d been until I took a solo vacation for 5 days. I came back a whole new person.

Consider getting a b12 shot or ask your doc to do a full work up of your vitamins and hormones. A lot of IVs go in and out and aren’t tailored to what you might need and can cause more harm than good (including to your pocketbook).

Have done full work up of vitamins and hormones several times and they’ve come back normal every time.

Ditto the B12 shot. Most med spas do them these days. I get one weekly and I can tell when I have had to skip for some reason.

It sounds like you need a full on review of your life and the commitments you have. What are the musts and what are the nice to haves? What can you outsource? Is your partner pulling their weight?

During winter I get a mood booster shot every two ish weeks it consists of b12 ad vitamin d. Now we are in summer I'm Back to b12 only. both help me a great amount. My engery is up, my skin looks healthier my concentration span is better as well as this I get a better night's sleep with a deeper sleep. Def recommend b12

I’ve suffered from workaholism for a long time. Thanks to a lot of great self help books and therapy, I’m no longer putting work on a pedestal and I’m spending a lot more time on self care and my marriage. But, unfortunately, I am now getting withdrawals, because my body is used to the daily adrenaline of throwing myself into work. I didn't apply for a job that would have set me up for the future in the government. I wouldn't have to worry about money or future jobs. My boss had just given me a small pay rise and talked up the future and so I felt good. I now severely regret not applying for the job and cannot stop thinking about it to the point of insomnia and depression. I even contacted the employer but too late. It's a small town and rarely anything comes up. I hate myself and feel like I failed my family. :(

Hi, I had finished my technical and managerial round on May 25th and 26th with PWC. The manager did mention that there would be another in-person round in the PWC Bangalore office. 2020 grad M&A/PE Associate in LCOL area thinking about moving to a ECVC/M&A boutique.
