Anything medical should be qualify as sick leave. You don’t need to disclose the reason for taking one.
Planning to travel soon for a cosmetic medical procedure. Was wondering if I could use some sick leave instead of PTO
PwC has a separate sick leave category? We don’t have it here at Deloitte.
We have unlimited sick leave but anything over 5 consecutive days requires a doctors note and goes through as short term disability through our provider
I would check the policy. My guess is yes but if it’s elective surgery that may be different. I think it’s worth asking because many companies can ask for evidence if you are taking a longer period (5 consecutive days - likely varies by company) off.
Yes but you’re still expecting to bill hours
You should’ve asked on the PwC bowl but yes you’re allowed to take sick leave for anything medical. Unless its more than 4 or 5 consecutive days you don’t have to show any evidence or anything

You said cosmetic surgery, will you have more on you than what you have today or will it be less?
