1. LIC - Enrollment has been done from my end.
2. PPF - emailed on icici ppf email id which was provided.

Where to check whether it has been approved by CTS ?

Wife and I updated our 2022 financial model of income, stock vests and bonus payments (an exercise we used to do regularly and had neglected to do so far this year) and for the first time our expected taxable annual income crossed $1M for the conservative estimate (she makes more than I do).
Feeling shocked as I don’t think I ever expected us to be people making more than a million a year!! Just the amount of tax we will pay this year is shocking!!

If Mark Zuckerberg has all his income being paid in stock, does that mean that he’s only taxed the 20% capital gains for when he sells his stock? Or are there other taxes he needs to pay too?

Covered under wife’s HSA all year. I’ve had no insurance myself. I just started with a new role that has a $0 premium HSA and was debating just enrolling myself for the remainder of 2022 and contributing the federal max. And then during open enrollment, putting rest of family on my plan in 2023 and dropping wife’s. Any red flags with this? Just trying to maximize tax savings for this year given my new job.
