So our school does a teacher parade at the beginning of summer (ours is next week) and I was thinking of taking my little kids and having them walk in the parade with me. However I just found out that for some reason, kids aren't allowed to walk in the parade 😕 so am I supposed to drive 20 minutes just to walk in this parade by myself? No thanks 😅

HELP! 30+ years of teaching Sped and I’m at a loss. 6th grade student in Middle School with Doose syndrome. Prior to MS, the elementary said he never caused problems. Since the 1st day, he is disruptive in class, refuses to work, and is disrespectful. He has a one-on-one para but she is in tears most days because of his behavior. Parents agreed with a behavior plan - he thinks it’s a game. Parents say he is not allowed to be this way at home.
