How many of us are just pretending we’ve got it together? Living a ‘normal’ life while battling thoughts that would break most people? It’s crazy how the world keeps spinning, and we just keep wearing the mask.

Unironically, you should watch “The Room Next Door.” I saw it at NYFF.

It talks about living in the face of death but also with the knowledge of our imminent demise (including things like climate change).

I struggle with the same thing you and other commenters grapple with. And this film by no means changed it for me. But it was a poignant conversation about finding joy or purpose in bleak times.

Mental Health, inherited or choice? I am finding myself struggling with processing that ADD, Depression, or Bipolar is a chemical imbalance in the brain vs. behavioral therapy. The best analogy given to me is you would treat diabetics with insulin so why not consider prescriptions to help mental health. 2020 has thrown more at me than I’m able to handle.
