Hi all,
I joined KPMG around 3 months ago but I am not getting work here. Although, I qualified some project's interview, yet due to some internal reason, they considered someone else, and I again came on bench.
I am unable to figure out what can be done now.
Should I start searching work outside.
(I hardly see any job openings these days)

Have you tried getting more sleep
Unironically, you should watch “The Room Next Door.” I saw it at NYFF.
It talks about living in the face of death but also with the knowledge of our imminent demise (including things like climate change).
I struggle with the same thing you and other commenters grapple with. And this film by no means changed it for me. But it was a poignant conversation about finding joy or purpose in bleak times.
I think a lot of people feel this way.
How many of us? All of us, at least at various points.
we are illusionists by trade and the facade is part of the job.

the only times I thought I had things under control were quickly followed by being let go. So now I don’t allow myself the luxury thinking I’ve “got it together”.
It's normal and it's called compartmentalizing. A lot of people feel this way, and some are better at minimizing it than others. It sucks. I hate it. I don't know what we do about it.
