Hi Fishes
I would like to know about the client interviews (especially in data science or machine learning roles).
Are these interviews tough?
Are these interviews meant to assess technical knowledge? For example, what is binomial distribution, what are different data structures in python, ml algorithms etc.
I would request each of the nagarrians to share their thoughts irrespective of the technologies you are working.
I am thankful to you for taking time and helping me out.

This is just GOLD.

We now have an “unlimited” vacation policy! So there’s that lol
Got it. Others have given better answers here, so I’ll simply wish you the best of luck :)

You’re eligible to take FMLA (unpaid) to care for a parent, and depending on EY’s Short-Term Disability policy, you could use STD to ensure you get paid leave. Check out your employee handbook/HR policy. I just took FMLA and was approved for std (fully paid) up to 12 weeks at my firm. All varies by the firm.
Yea agreed. Definitely qualify for FMLA but that doesnt pay. Hoping to find a way to qualify for Short Term Disability. Will definitely look into the details of that.
There's a personal leave quota of 80 hours so that should give you 15 days including weekends.
After that take the vacation policy of max 3 weeks before you go think of fmla or unpaid or STD.
Hopefully 1 month should be good for the time being

Short term disability leave?
Why not family leave LOA
Yes, that's definitely a possibility, but will likely be unpaid unless we can find some option to extend pay to some extent.
They’ll probably give you a 800 number that will be worthless. Also, you will probably not get relief of your numbers, so plan accordingly.
Short term disability or long term disability?
Would be approximately 2 to 3 months but I dont think short term disability would apply since we are taking care of a sick parent and not disabled ourselves.
