Thought I'd share another leadership opportunity, this time for industry leaders in the Tech & Digital sector. Would love to connect with anyone who is a senior leader (MD / SVP) with deep experience in this sector alongside leadership experience in a TA / Growth or Client Relationship environment. Amazing opportunity to further establish and grow our presence with global leaders in Tech.

Just got a job at Deloitte M&A in Atlanta and am currently looking to buy a house. Would you advise I buy closer to Atlanta or the suburbs? I personally want to be in the suburbs but I hear the traffic situation is quite bad. Current consultants in Atlanta, how much time do you actually spend in the office vs remote vs client site? Would you advise I try and stay closer to the office?

More time. Specifically, scheduling 2-3x the amount for creative development than strategy had to develop the brief.
Absolutely, think this is a great benchmark to try to hit, thank you!
Something I'd love to see more teams try is adding something like a clear "Strategy Lock-in" phase early on. Basically, get clients to officially sign off on the strategic approach before any creative ideas even happen.
Another thing that's helped a ton is doing a quick Expectation Session upfront, just a chat about what counts as helpful feedback vs subjective opinions. If everyone agrees on what good input looks like from the start, it’s a lot easier to push back gently later when opinions get random. Like they usually do.
Also, I've seen teams try using structured feedback forms or checklists tied directly to the strategy. It subtly nudges clients to think through their feedback more, instead of just shooting from the hip.
Just some ideas. Hope it helps!
Love this, yeah I love the idea of expectation sessions and a more formalized process form on feedback that includes strategy. Thank you for the suggestions!
