I recently graduated from law school and have started my clerkship in the superior court of NJ. Once done with my clerkship, I’m hoping to work in employment law (defense). I’ve seen online that Jackson Lewis is hiring at their Berkeley Heights, NJ location. Can anyone give me any insight on what it’s like to work at JL? culture? First year associate salary? What’s considered a good salary for an experienced external hire associate role at KPMG Deal Advisory-AAS in a HCOL (Los Angeles)?
Haven’t received my offer letter yet but my recruiter asked for my compensation expectation which I gave the range of $85k - $90k. Am I lowballing myself? Lol. I saw a PwC CMAAS experienced associate with a 92k salary with only 1 year of experience (external hire).

Hi. I’ve 16 Yrs IT and 7 plus Yrs Salesforce Experience. Approached by staffing agency for PwC for 2 roles. Senior associate and Manager. Which one shall I consider? Not sure if they also have Senior Manager roles. Im currently in Manager Band and doing both Architecture and Development work. What’s the salary I can expect? Thanks PwC
