Do Directors at KPMG travel weekly? How much of their time is spent on project delivery vs sales/practice development? How much of their comp is variable vs fixed?

Federal folks, what are senior consultants making these days?

I am in financial management making 117k. I have a BA and 7 years work experience with 3 years in consulting, sitting for PMP exam soon. Wondering if I should jump to senior consultant at another firm, or stay and try to make managing consultant (not sure the salary).

I graduated undergrad in 2019. I used to think 50k was a solid start as a salary. Not too high not too low. Now it seems like even 70k is poverty wage on this app lol.

Got an offer in industry for a corporate strategy job. The position is a huge fit. However their offer is 25K less than what I make now. I’m coming right in at experience level they are looking for, should I use my current salary to negotiate higher salary? Any other tips?

So, I'm being offered a job at TCS in their C&SI practice. I really like my job (Big 4), my colleagues, and the work is interesting. I honestly don't want to leave, but they are almost doubling my salary. I have young kids and a spouse, and some debt I'd like to get rid of so I can start really putting money away for retirement and savings.

Should I make the move? Am I going to regret it once I'm there? Is this where my career goes to die? What would you do?

Love everyone's input. A previous client approached me regarding a position they're hiring for, the problem is that the salary range is not as high as I am getting paid right now.

Currently debating between a senior consultant position at FTI Consulting and Exponent Consulting. Any thoughts and insights on each company? Any insight on a salary range for a senior consultant position in NYC?

I’ve referred three clients to my firm from my personal network that has resulted just over $1M in work (not including expected add on work). For each project, I’ve made the introductions to the client, scoped the work, written the proposals, pitched (one had a closed RFP, two did not go through the RFP process and decided to work with us based on knowing me) and am currently working one project full time. Should I receive a referral bonus for these and if so how much is fair? I’ve received $0.
