Had recruiters reach out from EY and EYP. I have looked extensively & can't really find any info regarding the pay bands for each. I am looking at Director/SM/MD and up. Focused on M&A and tech transformation.

Need to be in the 300's for base and good bonus or not worth moving. What is typical bonus % and how much typically for a signing bonus?

Is there a big difference between the 2 and not talking about ego. I am one of those firms now. Looking for similar/better comp w/better WLB.

I really like my firm and team, but the firm pays below market for the work that we do, wlb is crap like everywhere else. I am interviewing with firms that would pay more, e.g., T2 small and large. I’ve been a solid performer, very strong project and bd feedback. I’m up for promotion during the next cycle. I really vibe with my team, and I wonder if I can keep an offer or two handy to extort from hr comp match. Is it a good idea? Will it affect my relationship with the MD (salaried)?

1st company : Offer 1 : 9.5 fixed
2 md company : Offer 2 : 9.5 fixed + 1 lakh joining bonus

Will 1st company consider 1 lakh joining bonus and will match their fixed to 10.5 lakh?

I have a client in who's buying up small businesses in the food and beverage sector and they've asked me to take over as MD as one of them (my choice of which business).

They're all businesses in need of a turnaround and revitalisation and are turning over between €1-2m.

What's an appropriate salary to request? Is there a common salary to turnover metric that I could use as a guide?

I work at a boutique (currently ~14 bankers and 10 back office roles).

Joined in august. Since august, 3 senior bankers (MD / VP) 1 HR director, and now 2 analysts have left for great opportunities. To be honest I’m happy and like my role, plus it’s too early to think about switching firms already.

I am now the only analyst left, we have another one joining in January. Any advice on how I can leverage this for comp discussions at the end of the year?

I white label for a variety of agencies. Reason, is an agency that I worked for for 5+ years cut my rate 1/2 during the pandemic and wants to keep it that way saying broadcast is dead, buyers are a dime a dozen and that $45 is the going rate, meanwhile offering me a $4 mill TV buy at this rate. Got a 150k salary+bonus offer from a big 4 firm. Current company (salary=115k ) is really trying to make me stay but can’t beat that. They said maybe could offer a mixture of bonus and promotion that would still come under 150k. Plus my MD asked me twice to reconsider staying …what would you do?

Hi fish, I got an verbal offer during interview with MD at Goldman this Friday. MD generally confirmed my visa status and talked about title and potential package I could expect.
