Having 2 thoughts of leaving D cuz life is pretty comfortable as an SM with decent comp. New offer takes me to industry, bumps title to Dir and comp (same base but higher bonus potential).

EY Chicago Performance Improvement Program Management is the line I am interviewing with. Currently I make 165K 20% bonus with 50k rsus in finance industry 7 years of experience top 25 MBA heavily involved in strategy and tech portfolio management. Should I be looking at Manager or Senior Manager level?

Thoughts on technology consulting SM who doesn't see partner track playing out going to a $1.5B PE firm to do tech strategy work as VP for both the PE internally and also for select companies under management.

Not much increase in base pay but 10-20% better bonus and similar benefits. Also an opportunity for carry but not sure how much.

Offer in aerospace and defense, senior manager in Corp development. 170 base, 15-20% bonus. 8 years of experience. Any red flags? The non-comp benefits/WLB are all excellent

What is the expected salary range for someone in M&A tax in NYC / SF / LA for Manager, Senior Manager, and Director level?
