What is the salary range for senior associates (role just before EM) at Oliver Wyman in the healthcare practice in Boston? Does anyone have details on full comp?

So I’m going from Industry to B4, I read a lot on here about an exit plan or opportunity? My background is Healthcare, 5 YOE (Industry) with receiving my MBA this year. How long should I stay at B4? I would love to make senior manager then explore. What do you think? any advice is welcomed.

Currently an A3 in assurance. I have two job offers: senior financial analyst (FP&A role) and senior accountant. Similar pay (a little over 40% raise), similar benefits. Will taking one of the offers limit me to just those types of roles going forward or would there still be an opportunity to do the other later on?

McKinsey paid 573M to settle charges about it's role in turbo charging the opioid crisis. Question for the consultants- does morality come into play when you make recommendations? I work in healthcare and have turned down work on a few occasions when I just cannot justify some asks, or leaders are clearly fraudsters. I have fired a few clients too. Am I crazy? 6th year, inhouse my whole career, but getting interesting offers from firms. There's much more for me to do at current place, unless multiple more senior lawyers leave. Offer I'm entertaining rn: AMlaw 200 brings me in as my class year w/promotion to Sr. Assoc in Jan 2022. Got on really well w/partners and Sr. assoc I interviewed with (we went over time). Pay/benefits decent. 1800 billables. I'll learn a lot more, do stuff I've never done and 🤞be a more desirable inhouse candidate.

Anyone familiar with salary in orange county (SoCal) and LA/El Segundo area? Interviewed for a senior accountant role in a public health care industry in Irvine, but their maximum pay is 85K. I thought Irvine should have pretty good pay too but this surprises me. Even a private Healthcare company in El Segundo pays more than that for the same role but with even lesser experience and easier job duties...

Is this salary too low? I'm @ final interview for senior accountant and job posting said $60-65k. Before you say it's too low right away, my experience is on a low end of this of this role. Just 1 year auditer @ national top 10, 6 months intern at same firm, 1 year accounting intern at local private firm, and 2 years doing AP clerk. I'm a licensed CPA and in MCOL. I really want this title for growth but don't want to get stiffed. It's a large corp w/ great benefits.

Hi All! I work for a US based boutique tech company in the healthcare admin space. I’m currently interviewing for a senior role with a startup that is based out of Canada that is breaking into the US. Does anyone have any advice on the difference between the two workforce’s or experience with a company entering a new country? Any and all advice / tips that can be used while interview prepping would be helpful.

Tell me if I’m missing something here. In consulting, you sign up to work yourself to the bone for 15ish years at well below market pay for the chance of making partner where you will still be somewhat below market for another 10 years working yourself to the bone for the chance at maybe being a senior partner for 10 years making decent money while still working insane hours all while paying for your boss’s salary and pension and their retired boss’s pension. What about this is appealing again?
