I am a chemical engineer with over 20+years of experience in industry with process improvement using Lean six sigma black belt methodology. I am looking to transition into consulting in the later part of my career using to use six sigma methodology to solve business problems. Is there anyone who has made a similar transition in their career and can advise me on the best approach? I also have a masters along with my certificate. Thanks!

This is probably a stupid question, but what "level" should I be applying for at consulting firms if I'm coming from the healthcare tech industry as a director? There are so many openings and it's hard to pin down roles without knowing what to search.

I have a master's degree (non MBA) from a T10 school, ~12 YOE in healthcare with payer, provider, and tech companies. 10+ YOE project leadership, 4 YOE formal people management, 1 YOE managing managers, PMP, Six Sigma, Agile, and Lean certs.

I have over 13 years of experience in customer service, engagement, experience with 5 Years as a people leader and Ops Manager and recently certified with Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.

I'm 32F, have 12ish YOE in healthcare/tech, and I'm married with kids. Is it a dumb move to pivot to consulting now?

I have done pretty well in my career so far. I have a master's (non-MBA) from a T25 school, a PMP, Six Sigma cert, and I'm somewhat technical but also great with clients and execs. I'm sitting around $200k TC not including stock options since current company hasn't IPO'd yet. I'm interested in consulting for the variety of work and learning opps, but worried about WLB. Thoughts?

I’m a program manager in the public sector and have recently thought of obtaining my six sigma certification to be more marketable should I find interest in private sector careers (with higher pay). Is there anyone who has gone through the training found it worth while ?

Hello All, I am looking for a referral to a company looking for an experienced Supply Chain Professional. My relative areas of expertise are Inventory, Order, Demand Planning, outbound management. I have Analytics skills. I have advanced SQL, VBA and Python coding capabilities. I also have previous management experience with both direct reports and non reporting roles. In addition, a lean six sigma green belt. Any help would be appreciated.

For those in big4 firms or FAANG, does Lean/Six Sigma certification ls help or are they desired? I had 1 mentor recommend it, but I haven’t seen anyone else mention these certifications or require their knowledge for a role.

What are your feelings on Scrum Master certifications? I’m currently a lean six sigma black belt but want to understand and get certified in the Scrum world. I will be getting my PMP after I finish my MBB but I also want to extend my aptitude into IT.

Are certifications for six sigma and lean six sigma still valuable for careers? Some job postings are still listing it as preferred qualification, especially in industry. What about PMP certs?
