Hi! I have 9yoe in startup, hyper growth environments. I have a strong customer Quality Assurance process improvement background. I want to shift into becoming more of an IC vs people manager. Reaching out to you for some information regarding Six Sigma White Belt exam. Anyone knows where and how to apply and get certified?

White male/28yo, military, 2.75 GPA from service academy (took 2 online math courses from reputable schools to correct low math grades in UG), 710 GMAT (40V/47Q), 5 years WE (3 in managerial role w/ consistent promotions), six sigma & PMP certs. What are my chances at t25 and t15 programs? Also, would you recommend taking GRE? (Scored 317 on diagnostic very cold - 151V/166Q)

I am wanting to go into consulting. How can I use my experience in industry as an advantage to get into consulting? I had a few interviews with a firm, but I mentioned that I provided some efficiency solutions in my career, got a six sigma black belt, and analyze data to provide solutions on a daily basis in my current role.
After my 3rd chat with the firm, I have not heard back.
Any tips on what I can do to be considered in consulting? I've been in 3 different industries over the past 9 years.

Took my first GMAC official practice EA and scored a 159. From what I read, that translates to roughly a 155 real-test.

Anyone with experience on the GMAC practice tests and then getting their real scores?

More senior consultants, what did it take to break into the $200k and over range? After 2-3 years and completing my EMBA, is getting a promotion/new position in the DC area over $200k feasible?

Manufacturing is referred to the “back bone of America” by people I know. Yet it’s the most unsafe, saddest, and possibly most depressing industry I have worked in. Machine operators break their backs every day, while managers make decisions to cut costs/head count under the guise of “lean” six sigma. I work as hard as I can to develop and encourage a learning environment for the people on the plant floor. I’ve worked 60hr work weeks to support ppl, but I’m tired.. is it time to go?

Company Offers up to $12k in tuition reimbursement and I’m interested in using it for Lean Six Sigma certification right now and then MBA in a few years. Any recommendations on where I should get my LSS belt from? And should I get a Green or Black belt? Any feedback/advice is appreciated.

Is there a possibility to move to a consulting role and are there specific consulting companies in this area? I dont have a degree/MBA but lots of practical experience in project delivery/change.

Has anyone self funded professional qualifications? Things like Agile, six sigma or ITIL? Have spare time to engage in learning but these can be expensive. Is there much benefit or should I just do what I can get funded my my firm?
