Next week I’m having my first lateral interview as a junior associate. I’m very nervous because the group with whom I’m interviewing works with life science/tech clients and the attorneys have strong science/tech backgrounds; and I do not. However, I am very, very interested in transitioning to this practice. And I reaaally want this job because it’s at my dream firm. How would you recommend preparing for the lateral interview?

Folks applying for Data and Analytics roles in the industry at M, SM, D Levels, what technical/functional topics do you prepare for on the Analytics side?

My salary just got frozen @ 55.5k (SALT Tax, 1 year of experience). Should I start interviewing for other jobs? Worth it to stay 1 more year and “maybe” make senior? (PwC is 3 yrs to senior standard, 2 yr is early)

I have a Master’s in Accounting, and have 1 more CPA test then I’ll be done. Not sure if I have a strong enough resume to receive decent exit opportunities as a first year associate. I’m about to have busy season again and work 60,70,80,90 hour weeks at my low salary. Please advise!!

Been at a new job for a couple of months. Overall it’s been disappointing and I’m starting to feel anxiety for the future. I feel this way because I’ve just been working on one account I really don’t feel will create anything book worthy and I’m afraid that I will have nothing to show after a year. Mid-level associate at a mid-size regional insurance defense firm practicing coverage litigation. Salary is capped b/c my firm only does I.D./coverage and has no direct-hire comm clients. Second round of interviews with a comm lit boutique where I would be the only associate with 5 partners. Other than partner track, salary/benefits, and switching from coverage to general comm lit, what qualities of the move should I be thinking about as I weigh my options? I've never worked at another firm.

Invited to interview for a PM role at Lending Tree. My first round is 30 mins with the hiring manager ( Director of Product) . Should I be expecting only behavioral questions/experience related questions given the time frame of the interview?

Hey guys. I have a technical interview with AlixPartners restructuring and turnaround team. This is for their summer intern position. I didn’t come from a restructuring background. Hello! I just received my PSM I certificate for scrum master and I need help finding a mentor or a coach. Currently I am looking for new roles and would love any advise or referrals anyone may have in order to further expand my knowledge.
