I know this is the consulting bowl, but does anyone have any insights into what it’s like to be a client facing Product Manager at Deloitte and what the comp is like relative to consulting? A recruiter reached out to me for a role and I’m curious!

interviewing with kpmg, i thought i’d have one manager, director, then a partner interview. but i’ve got another director interview. kinda nervous now, since i gave a good performance on my last interview and was just hoping to finish off with my partner interview. Coming from non consulting role, so any tips on my interviews would be appreciated as would any jokes and non-serious answers.

Going to join *C* for the client RBS as an Implementation Analyst/Manager role. Could someone explain me the Technologies used at NatWest and how do they Operate? More from AQ perspective. Agile or waterfall?

Can you help with comparison of two offers? 1) Director role at a non-FAANG but large tech firm. TC is ~300k. Good WLB reputation, but the team / role is not ideal, it is helping with value prop and positioning of one of their software for industry clients. Not sales role though. 2) DoorDash senior manager, TC will be 260-280 being negotiated. The role is a new market strategy team so I like, but the culture sounds similar to consulting and stock price trajectory uncertain

Looking at exiting to a F500 company (Rank ~300), for a director of strategy role, with my manager reporting directly to the CSO.

The pay is identical, plus stock RSUs on top. WLB is much better (8-5 job), and work is more interesting.

They require relocation to a LCOL (less desirable) city. I'm thinking of asking to work remotely for the first 6-12 months (to accommodate wifes job), and fly in every other week (coast to coast flight).

Is that reasonable to ask? What else should I consider?

How would you frame this to your leadership as it’s not a notice yet just a ask to apply with a 85% chance you would take it. Is it too risky as I still need to go through HR review, but client is hiring manager for the role.

Accenture T&O Manager: $135K

Any suggestions? Context: I left Accenture a little over 1 year ago for the SC role (took a $30K raise) so this is a potential boomerang to a title bump

So a recruiter reached out to me for a role and wants to set up an interview in the next couple of weeks. Separately a manager from the same company who I previously knew/worked with from another company reached out and wanted to just talk and connect about the role before my interview. Since we chatted I haven’t heard anything from the recruiter about a scheduled interview. Thoughts?

Currently an experienced Manager in Cyber at Deloitte. Anticipating an offer for a Senior Manager role at EY Cyber in the near future. EY recruiter indicated it’s a matter of approvals and finalizing terms. Believe EY offer will be somewhere around 250k. Currently at 125k. Have been given indication at D that SM promotion is in the cards and roadblocks are likely minimal. I’d like to stay but uncertain if D could match.

What is the average amount of time to fill a role? How long in advance should a recruiter start working with a hiring manager to get their position posted? I think it depends on the industry but curious to hear if there is a national average and if that number is even realistic given the increased number of roles in the market. Also curious to know what average numbers some of you are seeing in your companies.

Needed some info regarding work in Oracle. What activites and development are part of day to day in OCI Consumer team at Oracle, any info would be helpful like the if they actually work on new development or only copy paste stuff and only managing the deployment for OCI team. Also how much is java used. I am interviewing for Data Science/ ML engineering role but the manager asked to brush up java for product development. So wanted to understand from current employees

Need offer eval advice. I am trying to decide between the following two offers:

1 - $100k in Houston, TX, Analyst position.

2 - $130k in the Bay Area, Manager position.

The stocks, and bonuses differ by maybe $5k between Houston, and the bay area (obviously $5k more in the bay)

Same WLB, the bay area position offers more WFH.

I recently applied for a role as a manager in Nikes EMEA branch I received the automatic mail from the application portal acknowledging receipt of my application then received an email from the talent acquisition partner a week ago also acknowledging receipt and confirming that they are reviewing my application and will send me an update as soon as they know more. It's been a week and haven't heard back. What would be the next steps? How long is the nike recruitment process?

Currently SC at D, got an "offer" from Cisco G11 level Program Manager role. 7>yoe + master's in CS + Lots of cloud and agile certs. Interestingly, HR was not willing to provide any compensation package details before hearing what I want. Im super bad at negotiating, Any thoughts on how to approach this?
Unfortunately I already provided some numbers based on my other interviews and my current base and he was so surprised since I was stll willing to get a 15-20% increase lol

I’m in a niche area of consulting - economic development strategy (includes workforce development and community impact). If anyone knows of consulting firms and industry companies that have growing teams in this area please share. Exploring an exit within the next 12 months for a senior manager or director level opportunity.

Looking for advice. I am a new manager at a T2 strategy firm. I have been in this role for about 6 months now (was previously in IT implementation consulting), however I still find myself struggling with pace of strategy projects and sometimes even following directions of partners/directors. I now sense frustration in partners and directors, which in turn is leading to more anxiety, ultimately affecting my work. (Contd)
