I was recently selected for a role at Google and my on-site interview was scheduled, all rounds went well but the last one which was with the hiring manager I had completely bombed to a point that my eye contact on screen made him suspect that I was googling answers which I wasn't.

Is there a chance I will pull through considering better performance on other rounds or I am done?

anyone know what the equivalent level in Consulting is for the role ‘Vice President of Consulting Services’ at HSBC? is it equivalent to Senior Consultant or Manager?

If anyone is looking for a referral to Deloitte, happy to chat! We have a robust pipeline of life science healthcare projects across the spectrum and are actively hiring across all levels (C - PPMD). Just to give context, the traditional consulting track is Analyst -> Consultant -> Senior Consultant -> Manager -> Senior Manager -> PPMD with other consulting tracks also available.

Tips on negotiating an offer? I have 5+ YOE as a software developer (1.5) and a tech consultant (3.5) and a Product Manager (0.5). Got a Product Manager offer from Visa for 140k base and 8-16% bonus for the Bay Area. Initially when I had the conversation with a recruiter around 4-5 months ago, I was desperate and I gave her a lower range (120k+) which I got raised recently because I was able to move to a product role at PwC where Im happy to stay. I also got the location changed from VA to SF

I’ve been passively browsing for industry exit opps, mostly manager level Corp strategy roles and interviewed for a couple roles none of which have gone to final round yet, but based on the couple cases where recruiters shared salary info upfront I’m starting to think that I’d have to take a pretty significant pay cut to transition. At $160k base now at mid-tier firm and the top of ranges shared have been $120-130k. Am I crazy to consider it or is this a common experience moving to industry?
