What's the base/TC range for Senior Manager role in the Finance team? Also getting recruited for a Program management role but assuming its similar pay scale.

How bad is it to renege on an accepted job offer? A new offer came in at a 33% higher tc, this is a senior manager level role. Concerned about reputational impact especially at this level and this cyber industry. Is there anyone who has actually reneged a job offer and can speak to the their personal experience?

So I’m going from Industry to B4, I read a lot on here about an exit plan or opportunity? My background is Healthcare, 5 YOE (Industry) with receiving my MBA this year. How long should I stay at B4? I would love to make senior manager then explore. What do you think? any advice is welcomed.

I am a consultant in Deloitte Digital and just received an offer from Jellyfish (Digital Marketing Agency) with a salary increase of 30% and a position of Senior Manager (consider a Manager in Deloitte). They are setting up the office from 0 in an european county so this is a good opportunity in terms of responsibility and challenge both from human and professional side. What do you think about it?

I spoke to a EY Recruiter today. She asked for my range for a manager role on the Federal side. I said 150-175 base. The role is in DC. She informed me that is more in the SM range and she would reach out if there was a SM opportunity she had available. I’ve been in industry for more than 10 years. I didn’t think 150-175 base was too high for a manager role with Big 4 in DC. I make close to these figures now. Am I going to take a pay cut coming from industry to consulting?

Currently a Manager at ACN Strat looking at likely promo to SM by end of year, and I’m exploring options to move to the equivalent strat group of a B4 (around this time next year for an SM role). At Deloitte, USDC (US Development Center) how much bonus % does senior manager get? Is it fixed for all senior managers or vary by how many years in senior manager role?

The comp being offered seems to be lower than CTL comp at Bain in Amsterdam/Berlin so not quite sure on how to negotiate. Would be good to get tips on the role/firm and whether there's a way to match the comp.

I’ve managed tons of teams and managed their career dev while at Big 4...what am I not seeing that I should see?

Is it sad to exit as IC/ non SM/director type roles as M in D?

I'm a doer, I truly don't enjoy project managing or people managing. I do however want to grow in my career.
