Is it possible to shift from Big 4 Director to T2 Senior Manager / Principal? T2 = OW, Kearney, A&M etc. A recruiter from T2 hit me up and I am interested in the firm, but she showed me a position one level lower and I am not interested in the level

Advice needed-
I’m a second year staff and am trying to decide if I should stick it out one more year (to hopefully have one senior busy season under my belt) or if I should start looking for positions now? I definitely don’t want to stay in PA, just trying to figure out if I will have better exit opportunities if I hold out for one more year. Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Hi, I managed to score a case study interview for Analyst/Senior Analyst role at M&A Transaction Services at Deloitte in Australia. Anyone has any idea what’s the case study format might look like? I’m a senior associate at an Amlaw100 firm in a specialty group. The vast majority of what we do is compliance, with a deal sprinkled in once in a while. Thinking of lateraling to an Amlaw 30 firm because the comp gap is enormous. I’m solidly on partner track at my firm - next 2 years or so - but the pay at the other firm is higher than the junior partner at my firm. New role would involve significantly more deal work. Any insights on lifestyle changes going to a specialty deal support position?

How do you know you're ready to move from an Account Executive to a Senior Account Executive role?

Hi everyone, does anyone have recommendations on what TC breakup to tell the recruiter at Amazon for Senior program manager (Supply chain), post MBA role? They are asking for breakup of base, bonus and RSUs. 4.5 years YOE. Asking for a final year Masters student.

I currently have offers for both EY and RSM for Financial Due Diligence as a Senior Associate in a HCOL area (NY, San Fran). Assuming I get paid the same, does anyone think one offer would be better than the other? Being a HCOL, I know there will be more hours for either role but not sure if there are other factors I am not considering. Is anyone able to provide any insight about either firm to help make this decision?

What is the interview process like for FS Senior Consultant role at EY? Tips appreciated

Senior associates- I have a lateral offer at Cravath scale firm for a special counsel role- 1200 billable, off partnership track, but paid base salary (no bonuses unless hours are significantly higher than expected). Would I be crazy to consider taking this instead of staying in my current role (senior associate, partnership track but have no guarantees at this point, billing 2000/yr with cravath-scale bonuses)? Is it career suicide?

Hi! I received an offer as a financial analyst for $86k base in Seattle (with stock options and bonus, annual income will be ~$110k). However, right now I’m making $115k base comp in SF as senior tax associate. I think H1B doesn’t care about total comp package, just base salary - will it be difficult to transfer the h1b to a lower salary position? Thank you!

Any tips to get smarter about analytics and better at critical thinking as I get more senior in my role? I feel like my media department coworkers ask better questions and have better solutions (as they should). I have substantial knowledge like Google Analytics and various campaign metrics, but feel short compared to colleagues. Curious what courses, newsletters, etc may help.
