I am a B4 tax staff (soon-to-be senior), and I’m seriously considering management consulting - I think it’s a better fit for my personality and hopefully pays better…so my questions are 1) are consulting firms hiring junior levels at all these days 2) what companies and positions would be my best shot? I am a L10 at Accenture and am on track for promotion to L9 by the fall. How feasible would jumping from manager level in consulting to a director of product marketing role be (E.g., PMM roles with a 10 YOE requirement)? I have relevant GTM strategy experience, but no direct experience as a product marketing manager.

Big4 as Associate or Top 10 as Senior

My career goal is to stay in TAS at least until Manager and then maybe go the consulting or corp dev route. Currently A1 in TAS at a top regional firm at 63k. I have the opportunity to jump ship to Big4 as an A2 for 83k in TAS or go to a top 10 TAS (BDO, RSM, GT) for 85k as a senior. I'm in a HCOL.
Question is, should I take an A2 spot at big4 or a senior role at the top 10 firm? Any insight is appreciated, thanks!

Received a verbal offer - can you negotiate the title?

The company hired someone who was a Senior Associate at my firm as a Consultant last year - I am a Consultant so would expect to come in as at least a Consultant. Typically it looks like one needs 3 YOE for the Consultant and I have ~2 years 9 months so close.

At the same time, the compensation is still a raise, the company is more prestigious, and the role is in the city I want so want to take it but don’t want to shortchange myself.

Got an interview tomorrow for a sr. Analyst position. Any tips? Currently a senior in TAS / FDD.

I got verbal offer from Deloitte USDC for Senior solution specialist role , they are offering me $120k with a signing bonus of $5k and potential bonus upto 9% in 2022 ($0-$10,800). I asked for $130k and 10k joining bonus. I got the reply I need to leave room to grow economically and 130k will not leave that room and joining bonus will remain $5k. Is there scope of negotiation and how much of 9% bonus we generally get ? I am on H1B.

I have an initial interview with PwC SF practice, Techno Functional analyst position. Interview is for 30 minutes. Interviewer is senior manager analyst. What should I expect? Culture fit questions or Technical? Any other pointers? Interview is this week.

Senior I here, I guess Senior II in October. EY will start the GC process soon. I am worried they file it for a Senior Position, and not for a Manager position. If the process took, let's say 2-3 years, I think it's reasonable to ask them to file directly as a Manager. Have you faced this situation before? How should I express my concerns? Should I talk to the lawyers, partners, HR, EM...? Any advice or experiences?
