Expecting a promotion to Manager in a few weeks. Total comp will likely be around 200k year 1. Have an offer to do Corp Strat for global industrial company where total comp would be around 230-250 but progression will be slower. I really value my network at accenture. Thoughts?

Sharing for transparency…I left my strategy consulting job for a corporate strategy role at a large industrials company. At the senior manager level, I was offered 180 base and 20% bonus target. The base was comparable to what I made in consulting and bonus is probably a bit lower (but varies by year, last year my bonus in consulting was basically nothing). I’m sharing because when I was recruiting I wasn’t sure it was possible to find a role like this and I’m glad I was wrong!

Just got hired into a management role for 90k for the first time. I’m struggling as this is my third week and my manager isn’t around and I’m dealing with some client issues I haven’t seen before - my friend (not in the industry) told me that I shouldn’t expect more guidance at this salary bracket. Experienced huge incoming surge of imposter syndrome. Is this reasonable?

How to clear the $200k mark? I’m currently a senior manager in product/ analytics/ growth at an old school F50. 29M, TC is about $185k ($140 base, $45 bonus/RSU). Is $175k base + bonus a realistic industry exit for a new accounting advisory Manager in NYC? I've had the title for 2 months and what about in 1 year? I'm seeing Accounting Manager job postings in the $120k-140 range and that doesn't seem worth it for me. I don't know if I'm out of touch with what companies are paying.

I am in discussion with TCS for salary negotiation.
They are offering less CTC than the offer in hand. They are waiting for my confirmation to release the offer.

Now, I am thinking to ask them to provide me onsite assurance(not now but at least in 6-12months), so as to compensate for the ctc difference.

I know that account has onsite opportunities at my band. Is it a wise thing to ask the manager to give me onsite assurance in written so as to compensate for the CTC ?
