All, looking for a comp. check at Slalom since their titles don't follow the standard paradigm. I'm a 2nd year senior manager with account management responsibilities and 10+ years of experience. Does anyone know what the range of starting salaries is for Slalom? For reference, West Monroe Partners would be 180-190k.

It seems like Slalom would be in that ballpark.

Any thoughts?

Senior with 4 YOE. Currently at 100k in TX. Have a call this week with another big 4 recruiter for a similar role. Would it be unreasonable to come in at 140k when they ask salary expectations? Obviously expecting to meet somewhere in the middle.

As a Sr Associate, at what time is it “okay” to start conversations about a raise/promotion? Been at my current place for 2 years, am the most senior of my fellow Sr Assoc., have nothing but glowing reviews from clients and teammates/leadership, but at this point my hours and responsibility are def more in the “manager” category and neither my title nor compensation reflects that.

I currently work for a smallish consulting firm. We have several openings for the IT positions:
- Data base + Army knowledge + sec/TS
- Qlik Developer + Sec/TS

Salary is around the 100,000. Senior resources get 25k+ more. Let me know if interested.

Considering 2 industry job offers - #1 is a mid-size software company, $70k + $5k signing bonus. #2 is a mid-size fintech company, $83k. I've been wanting to work for #1 and I like the industry and people better, but am having trouble looking past the pay. For context, I'm a senior 1 making $73k base. Both roles are standard GL accountant roles, and benefits are similar. Would you take a pay cut for a company you wanted to work for?

So interviewed at EY with comp expectations around 120k for senior in consulting (its the range the recruiter gave me), now they're coming back at me with a "we can't go that high, so what's the minimum it'll take to get you to move". What do third year consulting seniors make? I'm not trying to be unreasonable, but not trying to leave money on the table.

Help with salary negotiations for spouse? He is a senior associate at a small but successful Plaintiffs firm valued around $10 million (questionable number). Was offered equity partnership but turned it out as he would prefer to be a non-equity partner (multiple reasons). Average salary for incoming exp. senior associate in HCOL? Is $110k reasonable?

I’m starting to wonder whether I’m being underpaid or treated fairly, considering the current climate. I’m a 2nd year associate who finished his 1st year last month earning 65k at a very small IP boutique firm (4 lawyers total) in DC working around 50-70 hours. The firm has a billable hour bonus structure but it’s very unlikely that I’ll be able to break into it due to write offs, and having to cover for a senior paralegal whose on leave. Should I think of leaving or sticking around?
