Not looking to spend a fortune but with wfh 3-4 dpw, needs to be good quality.

Wondering about WLB. I've read everything here and it seems varied. My question would be, as someone with two young kids, how flexible are the hours? It's a WFH position but want to know if I'll be able to pick or drop off the kids at school when needed, etc. Is it something like as long as I can attend my meetings and perform my duties type of deal or am I expected to be in my office chair for the duration of my work hours? How do people focus in the office? I'm a first year and I've been mostly wfh since I started and I'm super productive at home - my setup is comfortable, I rarely get interrupted, and I feel like I can stay really focused in my home office.

Our SAs started today, so the firm is making us come in more often. My office set up is so awkward, screens are too small, and I'm constantly getting interrupted. Not to mention the extra time it took to get ready and commute. How do people do this?

Anyone have a Ruggable rug that they use in their home office? I want a new rug to put my rollie chair on, but not sure if Ruggable rugs are A) flat/firm enough to actually let the chair roll around on B) when you roll the top and bottom part of the Ruggable will start to separate and form air pockets. Portable monitor recommendations? Details: Looking for a recs for a bigger monitor that can either detach from the monitor stand or fold away easily so it’s not always standing straight up. Asking for graduating senior: Received an offer from KPMG for Associate position in Advisory. $85K starting salary and $7.5K signing bonus. Will be for the Tysons/McLean location. Is this offer up to par for the area and going rate for salary, bonus, etc? Should this be negotiated at all? Should a work at home reimbursement/stipend be requested for home office purchase?
