Hi all - looking for stats and help on what a St Consultant level III gets paid here in London? (My understanding is that levels are indicative of the cost of living of your home office and thus a higher level guarantees a higher pay). With 80K I feel like I’m being severely low-balled. I’m transferring from a US office.

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE working form home full time. However, I have noticed I feel less relaxed after work and I think it might be because I don't have that time commuting home to listen to audiobooks and decompress. How do you 'leave work at work' when you have a home office?

I’m currently in the banking industry (tech/project management), and I feel I’m stuck in a job that doesn’t drive my passion and I’m getting burned out but love the financial security it provides. Anyone with leads in the travel industry they have at 6 figures they could recommend me looking into that I could leverage my current skill set (non sales). I love to either physically be traveling OR working remote. Not ticking a box of sitting in an office chair for the sake of it.

Company: Hey! Take this money and buy an office chair, table, extra monitors, accessories etc. to setup your home office.

Me: Hey! Thanks.

Company: Are you now comfortable working from home and feel productive?

Me: Yeah.

Company: Awesome! Now come back to your base location and spend majority of your time working from a rented place where you will miss both working from home and working from office.

Generally curious how many companies offer phone reimbursement? My last gig did not but the current one does. Legally it seems, all employers are required to do so if we use our phone in literally any capacity (video call, slack, teams, emails etc). How prevalent is the issue of not reimbursing phone dues?

Toronto banks: remote or not? They sometimes post jobs where it doesn’t say it’s remote, but no branch/ location/address either. Then you get an interview and they tell you it’s remote/hybrid(1-2-3days, take your pick)/on-site. So, if you work at TD, Scotia, RBC, could you let everybody know in the comments what’s the deal for each? Are you remote, on-site, hybrid of some sort?
