Who else has put on weight with wfh? Just saw I’m 25lbs above ideal weight…any training plan / diet tips to lose it? Right now cutting back on calories, doing some weights and using cycling machine and rowing machine for 1+ hr/day.

Internet providers: Starry vs. Astound. Pros and cons?
I’m moving to NYC in nov and the two providers for my building are either Starry or Astound. Starry is $80 for 1gb/s; Astound is $50 for 1.2gb/s.

I work from home and have streaming internet so I will be using by internet all day every day. Any recommendations on which provider is more reliable?

Looking for advice: my boyfriend and I moved in together this year and we work from home majority of the time, I’m in PR and he’s in Tech so it’s not uncommon for our work days to bleed into the evenings. I used to work from home. I got a new job that requires me to go into the office. I love the job and the people I work with. There’s great energy and opportunities. But, the drive to the new job takes over an hour, and traffic is nuts. What are some tricks or tips to keep your sanity when driving to work? I hate traffic and it feels like such a waste of time. I listen to lots of podcasts, but I’m starting to get very bored of them. What do you all do?

Anyone have experience or tips for transitioning from tech to a SMB? I work for a mid-sized tech co. with great benefits (wfh, flexible, unlimited time off) that is pretty toxic and to be honest, I'm burnt out. I'm interviewing at a local business that sounds like a great opportunity, environment and so far I'm pretty excited about what the job would be but I'm a little worried that it's just too different. It's more in person, 35 min commute, limited time off but family friendly.

Pandemic hit and that was the exit sign for me. Found this current position within my company and took it bc it's wfh and touches on a piece of what I like which is aml and risk. But the pay is just not there, I'm struggling to pay bills and I know I'm worth so much more but I have not been able to figure out how to get from point A to point B.

How do you keep active while WFH? I’m 39 diagnosed with early menopause if that’s relevant, and I’m 8 pounds overweight, although I eat healthy most of the time. I did a calorie deficit for 3 weeks of 1200 - 1400 calories and didn’t lose a gram, but on the other hand I can eat all I want for days and don’t gain any weight, so I think my body is in plateau. As diet didn’t work for me much, I think the key is movement/exercise during the day. Any tips of motivation to get out of my house?

I’m exiting to industry. Yay, WLB! For the first time in my career (other than lockdown) I won’t be traveling. I’m a little worried about being fully WFH, and would like to get out of the house maybe once a week.

People doing WFH from their hometown city don't want to return for multiple reasons apart from saving money and commute time....
1) People like the stability here as compared to metro cities where everything is temporary starting from friends, colleagues, flatmates and even the cook!
2) People don't want to constantly struggle for the limited resources like water , electricity , fresh air , space and public transport.

Wanting to pivot to a career that allows me to WFH with at least 6 figures. Absolutely dread going into the office. Open to going back to school/training. Recommendations?
