I joined an agency about 2 months ago and every single day I get more responsibilities, to the point that I don't even know what my actual job title is. I'm frustrated, to say the least.

Am I being paid competitively? I have been the Onboarding Sup for my HR dept for over a year now and I’m being paid the state min for salary, which for CA is 62,400. I have not gotten a merit raise since the last 2 January’s, the state raises the threshold for salary folks. My company says that was my raise. Is this right? I bring a background from the clinical operations of my company, scheduling, field work, and what the average employee faces. I want to look else where but I’m not sure.

I have family members who are inside claims reps for a large company. The company sends out emails 4 times/day showing who is currently not available for calls. To everyone working in claims in the entire country! It’s been a minute since I worked in claims. And never for this particular company. But is this shaming the new way to manage WFH.? I got a job as a infrastructure consultant right out of college 3 years ago and later became a solutions architect at the company I am at now. I have a degree in CS and never really got the chance to use my programming skills (Java, python, Springboot framework). I’m finding that I’m not really in to platform engineering or cloud infrastructure and would like to pivot to software/app development. And suggestions on where I could get started on making this transition?

What's the best way to ask for a pay raise?

When I was headhunted for the job, ESG was a relatively new concept and too few companies hire for related positions. I didn't find any salary range from Glassdoor or anywhere so I had no idea. My fault was I did not ask the HR and just gave my asking salary. When I saw a similar post from my company (I was already hired that time), they were already including the pay range and I realized mine was way below. I'm already 2.8 yrs in the role.
