Hi everyone! In this field, when choosing a masters degree program is it more beneficial to get a degree in Human Resources to further my knowledge in HR (my undergraduate degree is in Economics) , an MBA, or Data Science Degree due to the fact that HR is becoming more data driven as well as get a PHR / SHRM-CP certification?

How many billable hours per week is considered at capacity? I’m getting pushback on boundaries I’m setting about additional matters and marketing work from my firm when I’ve been billing 60-75 hours per week for the last 6 weeks, and I’m still behind on my work. I feel like it’s reasonable to not kill myself further to fit in more/turn things around faster at this point, but am I being unreasonable? I expect my workload to remain at this level through the end of the year at least.

Hi! I want to go back to working with other humans (in person) after a successful 10 yrs of freelance/remote Creative services on my own. I am excited about working for brand development agencies, but I keep reading that in my late 40s, advertising might not be the most welcoming scenario. I currently work at a medium sized firm and have about two years experience in personal injury litigation. The billable hours and lack of work life balance are really getting to me and I am looking to switch to something else out of litigation, preferably in house. I am also looking to relocate to a different state. How do I go about properly marketing myself to companies that might not take my relocation and minimal experience seriously?

Our firm needs a ln experienced paralegal, is there anyway to find one besides the typical job boards?

I interviewed at a law firm and had my final round last Friday. The Tuesday afterward, I got a call from the recruiter saying the firm won’t have a decision for another week. I believe they’re interviewing other candidates. Does that make me second or third choice? And does the fact that I’m working with a recruiter hurt my chances of being selected due to the commission? Should I hold out for the offer or is 1+ week a sign that I won’t be selected?

How much of a total comp increase would you leave consulting for (E.g., 20%, 30%)? Trying to figure out what’s a good offer and tipping point for me.

When I spoke with HR she said that their was some confusion and with name and they have send wrong offer letter but except my CTC and joining date everything was same my email id, my home address everything. And now I have been asked to wait, HR says they will raise again. And its been 3 days now I can not accept the previous offer also and I cant even resign from my current company. What should I do?
