M26, I'm scared of a relationship. I've never been in one before and mostly had FWBs and just really good friends but never made the leap. Part of me is torn cause I think I'm still too young, ambitious and enjoy my independence but I'm reaching a point of getting tired of the same old same of opening up to new random people and making new fwbs I'm emotionally and physically invested in. So for someone who is nervous about taking a leap on this what are some things I should seriously consider?

Question: Girl friends parents finally came over for a ristha. Everything went great or so I thought but now she wants to time to think about moving forward. The pain point she brought up is that we are in different states and she is feeling pressed. Although in that time she has started communicating less and I literally had to beg her to get on face time. My gut says she wants to end it but unsure. Any advice ? Comforting others:
When someone tells me bad news regarding their health, I say everything I am supposed to say (I’m sorry to hear that, I’m here for you, etc) EXCEPT “everything is going to be ok”. Because I can’t guarantee that and I really don’t know if everything is going to be ok. I was taken aback recently when a friend told me I am calloused and cold-hearted for not being able to say those words. Is she right? Should I start saying this for the purposes of providing comfort only??

Working Moms/Dads: Do in-house positions exist with flex time hours? I need to be able to leave work at 4pm to pick up my son from daycare, but i can get back online at home to resume any unfinished work at 8pm. Is this realistic to convey to any companies in an interview? Pandemic aside, is face time 9-7pm really important? Or should i just try to find a job with a salary that covers a nanny salary and accept that i will never see my son on weekdays (which would be sad for both of us)? TIA!

Took my 2 year old daughter to the dentist and she found 4 cavities. We’ve been teaching her to brush her teeth before bed & after meals(unsuccessfully) so far.
She’s needs sdf treatment according to the dentist, any suggestions on how to move after the treatment as it leaves black coverage on the teeth. (She’s too young for crowns and what not)

I am getting ready to send my 2 year old toddler to a toddler program next week for the first time. Have to fill out a form “bathroom waiver”, which is basically allowing teachers at the school to clean my child after a potty, including genital area. I feel uneasy about this but I know I have to let them… I assume all parents have signed such waiver?

Most of our friends have kids who are able to mask up or are vaccinated and it’s getting quite isolating. We recently sleep trained our 7 month son. He went from waking up multiple times during night and taking only 30 minute naps 3 times during day (most cases nursed to sleep or rocked to sleep or took a drive) to sleeping 12 hours at night without interruption and two 2 hour naps and one 45 minutes nap during day. We both love that he is getting enough sleep and well rested on one hand. On the other hand, we are now wondering if he is sleeping way too much.. contd…
