A coworker recently asked me how I could smile so much in one day. I told him that is who I am. Truthfully that wasn't me a few years ago. Now I try as much as I can to make a difference in someone's day.

I once read that the people who make an effort to smile more are happier, probably because most of the time you get a smile and some friendliness back in a response. I'm sure you are making a difference in everyone's day :)

I am keeping a positive outlook in life. Life is too short to be wasted and spend it hating someone. I want to spend my life making everyone happy.

Its because a smile can make a difference is someone's day. Especially in someone who is having a bad day.

Aww. Yes. I agree, I also try to be optimistic and spread good mood wherever I am because the world had already so much negativity.

Same here. After a while I just figured i'd have a much easier time getting through life if I try to keep a positive point of view.

So far it seems to be true.

A hearty dose of acceptance with a dash of blissful ignorance, life sucks, were all monkeys with no purpose, most people are assholes, and I'm happy because I enjoy being happy!

It is nice when we do have the opportunity to turn a frown upside down with a customer or person who deserves it. Make a difference, OP!

Does anyone have any advice on how to deal with discrimination as an Asian in the workplace? In my company it seems like it’s a white boys club where and they just promote white ppl because they’re white. And then they have a lower bar for promotions for minorities (traditional minorities likes Hispanics and African Americans). Meanwhile they make Asians do all the work. I am not generalizing that this is how it is everywhere but it definitely is that way in my workplace. Any advice?
