Hi all, Recently i interviewed at Adobe for the post of computer scientist, Noida location. Had 5 technical rounds, but after that i didnt get any further response. One of HR called me and asked me to wait for a day or 2 last week, she gave me the reason that there are some issues going on in company. It's been 2 weeks now and i haven't got any response from them, i have been following up on mail and call, but there is no response either. What could be the reason ?? Any adobe folk out there ??

OP, you won't come across as a creep if you are up front with your intentions. Be respectful of her schedule and patient until she has time to meet. I would have a first conversation before asking about her committing to mentoring you. The best mentorships develop organically where there is mutual interest in the relationship. Provide this colleague some information about your career aspirations, areas you are looking to develop or get new perspective, etc.
Hi OP if you want to go smoothly with the request, you can frame it as : “I’d love your advice on XXX” the first time you ask and if you feel that the chat was insightful, follow up, thanks and you can reiterate.
After maybe two, three times you could say that you really consider her point of view and view her as a mentor
