Curious what market rate would be for my role: Head of HR for a tech start up, nationwide/remote company based out of Pittsburgh. I’m the first HR and run everything except payroll. Responsible for building comp program.career pathing, emerging leaders program, performance program, all recruiting/onboarding, L&D, etc. Thecompany is scaling and high growth. I have SPHR-SCP and 15 years experience in corporate and small companies. Currently at $102K base + 20% incentive. Seems low to me, thoughts?

Hi there - a quick search on GlassDoors doesn’t return specific Mgr roles - but Regulatory Specialist w MS quotes a high at $116. Mgmt responsibilities + East Coast = the offer sounds low. Hope others can help w/more industry knowledge.
Thank you!
Super low. I worked at Nestlé in various divisions for 10 years. I would say she should look for $150+. Her experience and education is extensive!
I have hired half the experience for the same salary.
However - it also depends on the specific area too so she should run a free salary.com report. It’s a good gauge for this.
I work for a smaller CPG vs the Pepsi, frito lay, etc. Our regulatory mgrs are right around that mark in the nyc metro area. Director level would be more around the 150 mark. With true 23 yrs of experience, I would think very overqualified for a mgr level role.
That is a very low salary for 23 years experience. Especially for east coast.

I read this first at 23 years old. Then realized it was 23 years of experience. Yeah, that’s low.
