Are you currently satisfied with your company PTO policy? It seems like more companies have moved to unlimited PTO as a benefit. If you are satisfied, do you find yourself using more or less of PTO because of the generous amount of days given?

We have an unlimited policy (a real one). It’s great! I find myself using what time I really need without thinking about it. Makes for a healthier and more productive workplace.

That is nice!

I've never worked anywhere that had unlimited PTO, but I would love that arrangement. I appreciate the fact that those employers trust and value their employees. Most jobs I've ever worked at have been stingy with PTO and sticklers about taking time off.

I recently had an initial interview for a technical recruiter position. The guy on the phone stated that this is not a 9-5 job and long hours are expected. I proceed to ask how much PTO is offered and he said that is not recommend within the first 6 months of working and the harder you work the more PTO you receive. From that conversation, I saw instant red flags. Any thoughts?
