I have two years of automotive/aerospace manufacturing experience and am looking for new opportunities. I recently applied to a Solution Engineer - Commercial Manufacturing, Automotive, Energy (MAE) role at Salesforce, and it sounds like a great fit. Is anyone willing to offer me a referral or advice on how to move forward in the hiring process? Salesforce

looking to get compensated for "industry standard" but it's hard without offers on the table, especially if you happen to love your job. figuring $130k base is fair for doing the heavy lifting on the design validation side of things.
If you are looking to get a a fair raise and are doing the heavy lifting I would suggest you ask for at least a 28% increase and adjust it to up to a 44% increase or greater. It all depends on the homework you have done to understand your value, yet you should increase your ask.

I love that you started this. I don't think this is too much to ask at all. I actually think that if people were more transparent that would help all of us. I don't think salary transparency is ever a bad thing.
You need to include the city as well otherwise the OTE itself is not the full picture.
