I have a possible opportunity at Protiviti. Coming from big4 and wondering if Protiviti has fairly similar perks. I’ve read the 2022 benefits guide and it gave a oddly low PTO count of 16 days. Is this true and what about a holiday disconnect in the December time period? Are there any other hidden perks that are awesome? Already heard WLB is better and the culture, but I feel like I’ve gotta find that out first hand. Protiviti

Deloitte 401k match is terrible, so not sure why this would influence your decision
No, the benefits package is structured in such a way that you either lose partial bonus or 401k matches! More and more firms are moving toward this model.
I'd say so
No. I emailed HR this question a few weeks ago. You need to stay until after June 1st.
OP- definitely valid to bring up during negotiations. Most companies will try to make up for lost bonus.
Some firms make the 401k contribution for every paycheck. I know EY does this. So people don't wait till year end to quit.
OP, definitely. Calculate how much you would lose and factor that (+% of course!) when you negotiate salary and signing bonus
M1 you seem to be living in another world. The EY I work for does a match at the end of the year!
I've heard no, but also curious on this
No .. that's why some people wait until Jan to quit.
Aw man, that sucks. Are loss of 401k match and pension vesting valid things to bring up in salary negotiations for a new job...? 🤔😂
No
D5 i was just curious to see if I would receive it. Definitely not a make or break factor in getting a new gig haha
I've heard no also
