Do you have any thoughts on how to manage feedback if your Partner likes you because you have more knowledge on the topic compared to your AP. Sometimes unintentionally Partner makes it obvious during problem solving and sparring sessions about his preference.Now AP tries to put me down every chance he gets by shooting down my hypothesis or taking over calls with experts? I am more concerned around AP’s feedback if I am aiming for an early promotion and less about his behaviour towards me.

Are there any fundamental differences between a salary negotiation during the start (applying for the job) vs. Salary negotiation during a performance review (you’ve been employed for x time and looking for a raise). My annual perf discussion is monday morning. I work on a tough team for a tough place. I think Im a pretty good/almost high performer but only around 3 years and my boss seems to still act like I’m brand new (lifer boomer). What is the advice on what feedback to leave for a peer who really sucks at everything y'all have worked together on? My hands are shaking!! I just got off a call with my toxic manager who is clearly not happy I am being poached for another division. I work as an AGM in a busy restaurant. Been working there for just over a year, and haven't had a single raise. I now only make 0.50 cents more than even the lowest paid shift lead but I am doing a lot more work. I'm no longer satisfied with these conditions. Should I try to negotiate a raise or look for other opportunities?
