I used to cat-nap, 20 minutes does a lot to refresh you. Anything longer, and you will not be able to wake up & be at 100% as fast. Learned that in the Army. Big picture, it could be your body’s reaction to stress. Maybe start thinking about mental health, talk to a counselor about it.
When I get stressed I shut down and kinda go into depression and don’t get out of bed on the weekends :/ I just sleep hoping it will go away lol but that just makes it worse bc I could be working or studying and now I just put myself in more stress 😩 never ending cycle. And power naps I can’t do, once I’m asleep I don’t wake up :(
I’m the same, and that’s after medication and weakly therapy. That’s what medical depression does to you. It’s an invisible disability
I nap if I can and then feel better. Worried it’s a bad habit.
I read somewhere that stress can trigger sleepiness in people with acute narcolepsy! May be connected, but also don’t want to webMD you🤣
I do think a short nap can actually help. It’s frustrating though when I just want to get something done and off my plate and my eyes are closing on their own.. >.<
Fell asleep during a conference call. Woke up an hour later with the phone off the hook. I honestly tried to stay awake...
I feel you. I am the same. Dont have a solution unfortunately
