Help!! My bestfriend is doing two months abroad and was trying to fly into turkey when they told her she couldn't because her passport expired within three months.

She went to the US Embassay in Athens knowing she had a month left of traveling, and gave her an emergency passport and punched holes in her exsisting one. Now no country will let her in with her emergency passport.

Can her mom get her a passport in the US and ship it to her? Is there anyway around this?

Has anyone dealt with coming to terms with an emotionally abusive relationship? I struggle to admit this (because more drastic examples come to mind), but my therapist mentioned that things like yelling/throwing things/blocking me from leaving the room are also abusive traits my ex demonstrated. Hello All - I struggle with time management. I take medication but I have no idea whether a task will take 40 mins or 4 hours. Because of this, I over commit and under deliver. Also, having been on the receiving end of criticism, over time I have developed a perfectionist streak. I won't turn it in if it is good enough. How do you break out of this habit?

Tips for desk research heavy projects (lots of reading, processing and synthesising information): how do you do it? Are certain meds better/worse? Modafinil feels better for reading and processing info but stimulants better for focus and executing tasks.

First day of 30mg vyvanse today. Had a rush of energy and hyperfocus (too much so) about 2-4 hours in, but had a complete crash 5hrs after taking the pill (just a wave of fatigue, felt very good after a quick 15min nap actually) and not sure if it had any effect after. Is this normal? Should I stick it out for a few days or is this a big sign that I’m not on the right meds/dose? Nervous to keep trialling this during the workday since a midday crash is not ideal. Appreciate any advice!

Does time blocking tasks for the day work for anyone? I get caught up, unable to finish tasks within the time block and feel miserable.

Here is my current cocktail: Caffeine 400mg (200 when I wake up then another 200 when I go to the gym 30 minutes later), Modafinil 150, Bupropian XL 150. I used to take adderall but it made me crazy for lack of a better word. Looking to add a stimulant for focus. Suggestions? Currently deciding between Ritalin and Vyvanse. Also, I know I’m a stim junkie I was taking adderall for 20 years so my tolerance is pretty high. Please keep it positive and helpful thanks

My psychiatrist today revealed to me that I may have ADHD, still a hypothesis that he is still exploring but from my personal experiences and discussions with therapist, it seems likely.

One example of personal experience is my ongoing prep for case studies as I'm interviewing with a number of firms. I do struggle to keep focus and generally take a bit longer to finish them, specifically the structuring of the case. Does anybody else feel the same way and any recommendations to overcome this?
