PwC 🐠, I interviewed with the firm about 6 months ago for a Senior Associate position on the forensics team. I wasn’t extended an offer because the position was given to an internal transfer, at least what I was told. I tried reaching out to the recruiter I worked with last time but the email bounced back and wouldn’t be delivered. I was hoping to see / reapply if the group still was looking for seniors.
In your opinion, would it be best to reapply as a cold application?

It's 2080. You bill 9 hrs/day....not 8.
Util is based off 1920 hours
My utilization is 110%
The real impact to utilization is the SM that promises a project and let's it get delayed
maybe you're one of the good ones. The others string you along and make it seem like you'll burn a bridge if you back out
Because of losing 60 odd hours for holidays throughout the year?
D also expects staff to be at 45/week minimum. K does not, and has a sliding scale for utilization.
Everything I've seen says 2080
1. Bill 9 per day. 2. Hit your target - Why do you need to be 100%?
If you work 45 hrs a week for 45 weeks (7 weeks of PTO/holiday) you're at 97%. Does PTO impact your utilization? Sure technically. But not significantly when you're consistently billing what you should be.
Some of the firms modify the denominator to account for PTO and training. Are u sure denominator is 2080 at D?
Not sure but I've read that here.
I am 100% utilized. Just have to work some long days/weeks.
That makes more sense D1. Thanks!
👆It's 2080. It's about making money budro.
It used to be 2080 3ish years back for sure.
Wow
I hear fed can only bill 40 a well usually
But you always bill 9!
Don't need to be 100%. Just curious about it all works being a newbie. I thought PTO won't lower/hurt util but it cleary does.
