Has anyone else found a second job to do after work? I know the economy is supposedly why agencies aren’t doing great enough to pay us, but with the lack of raises and promotions on hold I’m trying to find a way to make some extra money and avoid debt. Freelance has been pretty dry. Has anyone bartending or similar after work and have you had any issues with superiors complaining about not working late?

Is there any dress code for KGS? Are jeans allowed? I will be joining soon so wanted to check.

What’s your work-life balance like? I feel like I’m constantly working after hours, always balancing multiple projects, hardly ever going through a phase where there isn’t a ton of critical initiatives going on. It definitely wasn’t like this when I was a more junior PMM, but as a Senior PMM, my work-life balance has severely decreased. Is this just the nature of Product Marketing? Hey, I’ve been working at an agency for 10 months. Tbh the low entry level salary in marketing is getting to me. I live in a high cost of living city. I hate having to work from 9-6, sometimes skipping lunch(not paid for lunch hour), and working overtime for no over time pay. Is it worth sticking it out or switching fields? I didn’t have the best childhood and want to be self sustainable faster. I’m not a quitter but my mental health is not in a good place. Would like some advice. Thanks!

Management consultant evaluating an offer from Google’s Go-to-market team (Strategy & Operations) in India. Two questions:
1. Given it’s an internal consulting role, are the hours equally bad / worse than consulting firms?
2. Is it virtually impossible to move to a product ladder after spending 1-2 yrs in the role?

2. Infostrech (Apexon now) 21 fixed 1.25 JB

Infosys permanent wfh (Infosys doesn't have office in Gujarat)
Infostrech (Apexon) 1year wfh then hybrid (office is there in my hometown)

Which should I go with?
