Has anyone else here dealt with being in a super high pressure office? I love my job, I really do, and a lot of the people I work with, but our main doctor is kind of an intense guy and he really sets a tone that I think is rough on a lot of people.

I’ve never had marijuana. But the nurse gave me a Valium before my embryo transfer. I felt quite relaxed and good after taking Valium. Is it the same feeling as taking marijuana? Any sister who has had both can share? Thanks!

Anyone here being prescribed strattera for ADHD? I got diagnosed today and wanted to hear about your experiences.

6’0 and weighed in at 220lbs today. All time high and have gained 20lbs since gyms closed in March. When I did workout it was more or less 100% compound lifts. I’m now limited to a few kettlebells but am not even close to as consistent as I was. Any idea on how I can lose this excess 20lbs? I feel like it crept up over night.

I went to the lease this last weekend. Not one drop of alcohol was had. That was the closest I’ve come to caving. 4 wheelers, killing dinner with big guns, doing manly things in God’s country. Beer is an absolute necessity during these events. Anyhow, I didn’t drink. Proud of myself. Monumental moment for me.

Hello I just started my first job (I’m 22) and I need to set up a 401k for matching with my company. I’m really confused how this works because I want to try to hit the IRS maximum of $19,500 for Roth contributions this year. Maybe it’s too late in the year now, but it’s asking me to pick my desired contribution % per pay period, but I’m not sure how much to do because it says it’ll kick in 1-2 pay cycles and I don’t even know when the next pay check comes yet. Hello my fellow shoal of fish. I am seeking recommendations for a lounge chair in my office. I currently have the adjustable stand desk and a relatively comfortable office chair (not when reclining) but the other half of my office is empty. Im putting in a 55” tv and need a recliner, lounge chair, or something of the sorts to put in front of the tv. Something where i can put my feet up. I work part time for a startup for equity and am attending an event on behalf of the startup. I’ve only been here a few months and asked multiple times to have a prep meeting with my boss. He instead sent me a 15 page document outlining 40 questions I should be able to answer the day before the event.

I've been a dental assistant for 11 years , and I think I'm done . I feel the pay is never enough and 9/10 we do the most work in the office . It's never commensurate to what we do and no matter how much experience you have your still 3-5$ more than someone fresh out of school . It's a skill I'm glad to know that I can always find work but the burnout for nothing isn't worth it. Can anyone relate

Hello everyone I have 29 years as a dental professional in Texas. I started as a dental assistant back in 1993. As my career progressed as a RDA, I moved to the front office and eventually management. I even taught dental assistants and became the Program Director of a DA program. COVID opened up remote work for me, I manage eclaims, claims corrections and billing for two offices. $20 per hour, no bonuses or incentives, I know I am not getting paid enough! Any input would be appreciated.
