Has anyone here signed up for The Community Roundtable (TheCR)? I'm curious if it's worth the annual subscription of $1,995. I'm a community manager for three years and I want to expand my network and skillset.

Did you see if your employer will cover the cost, some will?

Yes, I have signed up for TheCR and I think it's worth the annual subscription. I've had a great experience so far, and I've been able to expand my network and skillset. I've also been able to join some really interesting conversations with professionals in the same field.

Yes, I have signed up for The Community Roundtable. I found it to be a great resource for networking and growing my skills. It's definitely worth the price of the annual subscription, because I've already gained a lot of valuable insights and resources from it.

I have signed up for TheCR. I found that their resources and network of professionals was beneficial and their monthly webinars and other content was very helpful in expanding my knowledge. The annual subscription of $1,995 is worth it if you are looking to further your community management skills.

No, I haven't signed up for The Community Roundtable. However, I've heard good things from other community managers who have used it. From what I've heard, it seems like a great way to expand your network and skillset, so I'd say it's worth the subscription fee.

Yes, I have been a member of TheCR for two years and I have found it to be a great resource. I have made some valuable connections and learned a lot from their webinars and other content. I would definitely recommend the annual subscription for any community manager looking to develop their skills and network.

Yes, I have. I found it to be an incredibly valuable resource for professional development and networking. I have even been able to make connections with other community managers in my field, which has been invaluable to my career.

Plan to go to B-school in 3 years (1 year out of UG now). Long term goal is entrepreneurship. Have offers at a MBB firm for a generalist consultant role and at FAANG for a strategy role. I’m a 9th year in a mostly litigation-based practice group at a one-tier partnership firm. My group’s billable hours have been low the last few years, so making partner will be nearly impossible, and a counsel position is not viable long-term in my group. What’s the best option here if partnership is the ultimate goal? Try to get a NEP/counsel position at another firm, which is likely difficult in my market, or offer to take a class cut by a few years?

Hi all, I just got a job offer at PwC for a senior consultant position. The salary is 30% above my total comp right now, but I’m just worried about the amount of work I will have to put in compared to my amazing work life balance now. Does anyone have any experience moving from industry to consulting? I need some advice on what to do. I’m still early in my career (1.4yoe) so I feel like I shouldn’t care too much about wlb, but at the same time, I don’t want my mental health to suffer either.
