Have you ever bought a paid course or ebook from someone on X or TikTok, specific to digital marketing? The premise of these is right, in that we should all want to keep increasing our digital marketing knowledge and skills. But I swear I can't login to social media without seeing spam at posts for people hawking their courses and e-books.

I'm just curious if anyone's ever bought from them and do they work?

Any good books or articles worth reading on product marketing and analytics? I come from more of a technical and general product management background, so I personally feel like I lack on the marketing side. Like Search engine optimization, etc. Thank you.

My background is in tech transactional. I joined a cybersecurity SaaS startup at the end of last year and now also handle more generalist matters in addition to all things commercial-related. I joined an agency about 2 months ago and every single day I get more responsibilities, to the point that I don't even know what my actual job title is. I'm frustrated, to say the least.

What would you do?
My company contracts a web developer, we have a set amount of hours for the quarter and pay over if more work is needed.
He never gets anything done. Doesn’t answer emails half the time. The one thing he’s done was take out a blurb that threatened our eligibility for patent renewal.
We have another company taking over in January, but I still have some pretty important dev needs until then and I can’t get him to do a thing. I truly try to give him all he needs.

How do y’all deal with people at work who are stuck on stupid? Like they have no idea what they’re talking about and they REFUSE to learn. It’s like they have a god complex or something even with proof, maybe bc of their tenure at the company? Even if there’s valid data backing up that they’re wrong. I'm a marketer and I'm having a hard time getting my clients to listen to me.

I have been in marketing for 10 years now. I've worked with hundreds of clients and have been able to increase their sales by over $1 million each year.

But every time I go into a meeting with a new client, they ignore everything I say. They just want to talk about their product. They don't seem interested in learning how to market it better.

I think I've moved almost entirely from newspapers to newsletters. Media changes!
