My current job isn't the best at getting me shifts, so I've also been applying around too.

Have any of you had trouble getting interviews at startups due to them wanting more startup experience? I've worked on many greenfield projects for clients and more mature projects, so I'm not sure why I wouldn't be a good candidate. The funny thing is when you look at the bios for some of these founders and see just how inexperienced many of them are. One's bio was basically the list of clubs he belonged to in college.

Interview tomorrow for a tax associate opening at RSM. Been working in a mid-size city (different firm) that is about 70 minutes from this new home office in a larger metro. How flexible is WFH or dual model going forward post Covid? Am interested in this position and going to tax, but not be able to relocate for family reasons. Happy wife happy life is a really toxic saying. I’m just shocked how this has become the standard saying for men in relationships. I have friends of mine saying this all the time, and I have just thought it’s so cringe and always want to say my thoughts on it but always decide to hold back. I have recovered from Corona Virus. Its 6 weeks now and I can tell you that the after effects are real. I have anxiety that I will never get over the fatigue, brain fog, inability to form sentences and words and headaches which make my work days very difficult to get thru.
