I've actually just dealt with this. I started seeing a therapist who was able to help me break through a lot and I also started taking medication to help balance everything out
Counseling has really helped along with meds... I've been on different meds for 7 years and they have worked when needed but I'm going off all meds now due to some side effects...I plan to continue counseling... remember there are situational things you have no control over and things you do have control over...that really helped me cope...please let me know if you need someone to talk to who can relate...
Counseling helps. Being a teaching is rewarding. It is so hard. I also am dealing with depression and anxiety. I also like to keep a stash of student notes nearby during the hard days.
I am trying to figure out right now if I'm depressed. Probably seeing a therapist is the best first step.
