Hi Fishes,
I Will be Joining PWC AC B as SA2 on Sept 2,2022. Just want to know about Appraisal cycle. Is it Mid Year or Annual appraisal process. Also, will I be eligible for next appraisal cycle ? Tried asking the same Question to HR, but didn't get a proper response. She just mentioned as per company policy.

I have some doubt regarding pf contribution... Say for example.. 12% of my base salary is 600 which gets deducted from my salary.. on the flip side.. the company has to contribute 600 to my pf (which is actually deducted from my salary only like already part of CTC)?. So my question again is that.. the company contributes 600 as well? PwC

Lifestyle compatibility is about long-term goals and what you want your life to look like. How many kids, where do you want to live (city, suburbs, rural- as well as area of the country), how often do you travel- do you take a bunch of smaller trips or one big trip, how often do you see friends (IMO- this one has the most space for compromise because if one person likes to see their friends a couple days a week, and the other is fine staying home and seeing their friends less often, that's OK)- but also need to look at how often you do double dates or larger group dates. Also- talk about your in-laws and holidays!! Which family do you spend holidays with, how often do you visit family, how often do they visit you, etc. Talk about your goals related to spending/saving habits and retirement goals
Your limit to compromise is probably dependent on how far apart you are in the key areas that are important to each of you. And what you are both willing to compromise on. If you want 2 kids and your partner wants 3- that's a lot easier to compromise than if you want 2 and your partner wants 5+. Also look at where to live- does it make sense to live one place for 5 years and somewhere else after you have kids, etc.

Wow great response CS1, TY! Just wanted to add, can you BE with this person, their habits, and the patterns their parents instilled in them after the honeymoon era ends?
Sometimes you think you know someone then they turn out to be a narcissist or have family patterns that are not compatible with your own.
