McKinsey & Company McKinsey & Company I have my first rounds (2 cases) for a position at the risk practice. Will I be interviewed by consultants in the risk practice? I wonder if I can ask some risk practice specific questions at the end of the interviews. (Didn’t get the names of the interviewers yet so I cannot google)
A BCG recruiter ghosted me after she reached out to schedule an interview. How long should I wait before following up? What is the common courtesy to give to ppl at BCG. I don’t wanna come off as too aggressive but I really need to get this interview set as there are other pending confirmations Boston Consulting Group

In Risk Practice, we serve clients on technical stuffs like model development/validation as well as strategy/non-financial risk. Never worked at big4 but I guess the scope is broader here. For financial risk, maybe OW is the closest one.
I’ve seen a few former IB folks from more risk-oriented product groups (e.g. securitized products group)

Big-4 risk is entirely different than MBB risk. Big-4 is essentially tech focused accounting without a CPA. At MBB it is about financial and business risk. An MBA would be the best path as the skills in big-4 risk aren't really transferable beyond IT audit and compliance roles (neither of which MBB work on).
Agree! I have friends working in big4 risk advisory and the work is totally different. Mainly IT/compliance review kind of job. Does Bain have teams doing financial risk analytics/modeling?
