Hello, what is working in retail banking like at JPMorgan Chase ? Specially the branch manager role. I’m looking in the Columbus area. How is pay, culture, benefits, sales environment, meetings, etc. How easy is it to transition from retail banking to corporate. I hear the Polaris campus has great opportunities, I was thinking about getting my foot in the door through retail then transferring to corporate ?

It is not unusual for a CM to not have a degree. In fact, many CMs have started their careers without a degree and have gone on to be successful. A degree can be helpful in getting your foot in the door, but it is not essential.
I feel like it never really comes up in my conversations, but I'm sure that's because people without degrees are not so eager to broadcast that information. I have a 4 year degree, but I've definitely wished that I didn't go into any student debt in my early 20s and just advanced my career by work experience. So good for y'all who skipped out on the student debt path!
Nope. It is not unusual. Most of them had prior experience, so that's already a huge factor.
