I have been a rbt for 9months. Got fired from Hopebridge... for staying over on downstaff helping someone with a patient. Talked to hr they didnt care... I pray head hr cares so i can get my job back.. but i have not been in the best mental state.. im trying to call on Jesus but its getting harder and harder mentally, spiritually, emotionally, and physically. Im in a real deep depression.

Serious post.. I've been feeling really depressed lately but am apprehensive of going to a psychiatrist because I would prefer to stay off meds. Have any of you battled depression without medicating?

Hey! I’m new here and would like some input. I’ve been working in a new position for almost 5 months. In that time I’ve witnessed some unethical and lots of unprofessional behavior. I’ve been yelled at and berated by my coworker 3 separate times because of minor errors. I’m ready to quit. There are so many major issues in this company that I don’t know if I want to subject my mental health to this degree of toxicity. I just don’t know how to move forward from here.

Not as relevant now, but how do I get over the feeling of not fitting in at the gym? I am overweight and only see really fit people all around me, so it’s nerve-wrecking and I’m super conscious!

Does anyone get so anxious about work that they can’t eat? The thought of food just makes you want to puke? How to manage? Skipping meals/not eating for a day is unhealthy and will cause weight gain

Advice and/or consolation anyone? My wife and I (both above average health 30year olds) were trying for 11 months before getting pregnant and then had a week 5 early miscarriage a few months back. If the stress and surprise of just how difficult it apparently is to get pregnant wasn’t enough, the miscarriage put us over. We got back to it and have been trying for the last 2 months again, still no luck. We’re freaking out… all we want is a family. Any similar stories? Advice? 😢

I’m around 21 weeks and have been dealing with a lot of leg, tailbone, back, and general muscle pain. Since I do work long hours Monday- Wednesday (10hr +) I’m trying find a comfortable chair to switch to. Any recommendations? Currently I’m switching every hour or so between my kneeling chair and standing.

Thanks to a lot of great self help books and therapy, I’m no longer putting work on a pedestal and I’m spending a lot more time on self care and my marriage. But, unfortunately, I am now getting withdrawals, because my body is used to the daily adrenaline of throwing myself into work. HR opinion: Do I have any leverage as a hospital nurse case manager in negotiating earned time?
